“And the winner is… is… is… Cyndi! No its not.”

This was what flabbergasted viewers heard as the once admired Irish favourite Terry Wogan named the winner of our 2007 entry to the Eurovision on BBC’s Making Your Mind Up.

After a batch of blank faces from everyone, including newly crowned UK leader Cyndi, it was Fearne Cotton, Wogans co-host who stepped in and saved the day.

“Its Scooch!” she announced, whilst pushing the now disappointed Cyndi off stage.

This just adds to the speculation over call-in votes on programs like this and whether they are rigged. Rigged? I don’t even think they are plugged in. In a few years they wont even be switched on. Shame on you money grabbing TV Producer bitches!

Scooch will sing Flying The Flag (For You) in Helsinki on 10th May.
