Here and There. Now and Then

Me me me

I am cheeky and sarcastic but oh-so fun and friendly. I am random and slightly weird but thats not a bad thing is it? I love to meet new people and get myself noticed. Being quite loud I make my presence known but I am grounded and know my limits. I just try to enjoy life and make the most of a situation, using my initiative and taking on masses of responsibilty when I can. I am dedicated and very reliable. I will not let you down.

TV. This is where i truly want to make it! In an ideal world i would have my own chat show and be a presenter in the style of Jonathan Ross mixed with Graham Norton. I am fresh faced, cheeky, sarcastic and honest. I would also like to appear in a sitcom. Be it one i have written or something in the style of Extras, Peep Show and Green Wing. I crave a good laugh, and a smile is always on tap with me. Comedy acting and presenting are what i am most interested in, however, a good offer is always hard to turn down, so throw them on me already!

Where did it all begin?

I enrolled on a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts as early as I could and excelled in the grown up atmosphere. I loved being in control of my life and taking a charge of the reigns.

The passion i had for performing was so clear. A peoples person, an entertainer, a natural, a star.

"Camp America was a great experience. It started me out in the entertaining world by throwing me in the deep end with difficult children at all different ages, but was a huge help in showing me the way things can be. "

What have i done?

After the BTEC I flew to New York with Camp America where I co-directed and stage managed a production of Chicago. Straight afterwards I did a season as a Redcoat at the flagship Bognor resort of Butlins.

On completion of my contract I came back home and worked at a theatre as front of house.

My next adventure was that summer, in the Balaeric Islands, as part of an entertainment team in a large family resort.

Soon after I arrived back home I drove down to Norfolk where I spent a fantastic winter season as a Pontins Bluecoat.

Returning to Essex, I had the opportunity to get involved in local amateur dramatics. In 2007 I tapped my way through Anything Goes, sung my way through the devilishly wicked Witches of Eastwick and laughed myself through Sleeping Beauty, The Panto.

I decided to go aborad again when I was offered a teaching placement at Stagedoor Manor, in New York. I gave lessons in TV Acting and filmed and edited over 20 productions.

"Butlins and Pontins helped me develop as an entertainer by giving me large audiences who expected a high level of customer service. Working abroad in a team of entertainers helped me hone my character and i found things out about myself that i can now use to my advantage with guests and audiences."

What do i enjoy doing?

I enjoy creative writing and am proud to have written a few scripts, including a sitcom, a panto and a few short plays.

My autobiography is something I started a while back and as you can probably guess, is an ongoing thing.

I have dabbled in the world of stand up comedy. Check out the SHOWREEL link to watch me.

Another passion of mine is videography. I like to create timeless pieces of memorabilia for people on DVD, be it a party or event. I have been commissioned a few times to create packages for families and businesses.

"Working in different places has had a massive impact on my life by showing me that even though the entertainment may change, you as a person shouldnt because it is what you do individually that makes the difference. "

Shows to date include:

Oh! What a lovely war, The Importance of Being Earnest, Frogspell (An Original Musical), Find Me, Godspell, ENSA (War Entertainment), Astaireway to Paradise, Anything Goes, The Witches of Eastwick and Sleeping Beauty The Pantomime.

I have also been involved in song and dance spectaculars whilst working at Butlins, Pontins and abroad. My dancing abilities have improved and I have kept my voice strong, maintaining a broad range, whilst picking up confidence and technique.

"I always relish the opportunity to work in teams, suffice to say i am a great independent worker. I am organised, punctual and trustworthy. Determined to succeed I put my all in to everything and really believe in myself. Confidence rubs off on people and I believe it is the key to success.

Being 22, I am young, but not too young to be taken seriously. My friendly approach and respect for others helps me build rapport and my maturity maintains their conviction.

I see myself as sociable, welcoming, sensible and loyal.

I have a lot of potential."
